Functional bioregulation with biofeedback
Starting 1970’s “Biofeedback” or functional bioregulation method with biofeedback is used for medical selection of students and children in Biological and ecological research Centre in Latvia, city Jurmala, for treatment and correction of logoneurosis, enuresis, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder and other functional disorders. Nowadays devices allows us to train all body systems: different vegetative reactions (for example: breathing, pulse rate), which can reduce internal anxiety level and different types of stress.
Modification of blood vessel tonus improves brain blood circulation and blood drain, and provides normal feeding of brain neurons. Breathing, blood vessel and pulse rate reaction training allows changing whole body’s homeostasis. Various rhythm brain electrical activity trainings are especially important for children and grownups. For children the repetition of the task stimulates brain cortex neurons by neurotransmitter creation promotion and development of inner between-hemisphere link. It promotes spontaneous attention creation, logical thinking progress and prediction of happenings several steps ahead.
It’s defined that functional bioregulation allows determined improvement of spontaneous attention, memory, patience, working ability and other brain and body functions overall.
Experience gathered in last 40 years allows recommending functional bioregulation method with biofeedback for behavior disorder prophylaxis and rehabilitation for children with learning problems. Bioregulation program could be recommended for school psychologists as a new medication free health renewal and behavior correction method for young people. Functional bioregulation with biofeedback method promotes children' organism functional condition improvement as well, and can be used for children adaptation to intellectual load at school and home.

Psychologists were first who evaluated functional bioregulation with biofeedback importance for children. Experienced school psychologists formed first group which was thought about bioregulation with biofeedback usage for breathing and pulse rate vegetative indicator regulation and inner tension, and uncontrolable movement reaction removal.
